Baron Longo
Historic, biodynamic family winery in the Dolomites
Our approximately 20-hectare biodynamically managed vineyards are located in the south of South Tyrol. They range from 270 meters above sea level at the picturesque Villner Schlössl in Neumarkt to 1,050 meters in the Trudner Horn Nature Park near Montan. The Baron Longo winery has a centuries-old winemaking tradition, continued by Anton Baron Longo.
Providentia - Fortitudo - Constantia
Consistency, courage, and foresight are the guiding principles of our winery. We produce wines with an elegant style. The sparse soils, characterized by Dolomite limestone, give our wines minerality and freshness.
Winemaker: Anton Felix von Longo-Liebenstein
Anton Longo combines his own stylistic philosophy in his cultivation, which runs like a red thread through all his wines. Since bringing the vinification of the grapes back in-house in 2015, his actions have been characterized by a holistic view of the interplay between nature and man – thus, wines of special character are created at the winery: wines with identity. Anton Longo places great emphasis on the elegance of his wines.
