Winery Praxmarer

The family-run winery Praxmarer is located in Mazon, a picturesque high plateau south of Bolzano, in the sunny south of South Tyrol. With its unique microclimate, Mazon is considered the best and most famous Pinot Noir vineyard in Italy. Our fascination with wine and the exceptional location in Mazon prompted us to vinify part of our 14 hectares of vineyards ourselves for the first time in 2020, with the ambitious goal of creating our own interpretation of a Pinot Noir Mazon. In the historic cellar at the family-owned Fritzenhof estate, we now produce exclusive wines from our best vineyards in Mazon in a strictly limited edition.
